When you see a kid being hit by a physically big boxer, you
can’t stand passively, just seeing, pretending to be taking a neutral position.
Insofar as you are a normal human being physically and mentally, you should
take the side of the kid, you must help the kid by opposing and fighting
against the boxer at the risk of your own life. If you just stand in neutrality, merely seeing the brutality, that means you take the side of the cruel boxer and support him to murder the kid. It essentially means that you are the same as the killer.
Ponder on this saying of Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968): “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty of the bad people, but the silence over that by the good people.”
Ponder on this saying of Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968): “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty of the bad people, but the silence over that by the good people.”
That applies too in the political world. In politics you as a good person must take side, can’t
be neutral. I take the side of honesty, truth, justice, integrity and dignity. My
politics is politics of love. Love in the political world is a critical and smart love, not an uncontrollable animal lust.
When you see and feel that the politics of hatred and dishonesty is powerfully being implemented in this country to such an extent that the defenders of the politics of love and honesty are being innocently victimised and forcefully being pushed to the margins, you can’t stand in a neutral position. You must side with and defend and support the defenders of the politics of love and honesty.
Consider deeply what the German poet and dramatist Bertolt Brecht (1898-1956) has said that “the worst illiterate is the political illiterate. He hears nothing, sees nothing, speaks nothing, and takes no part in the political life. He doesn’t seem to know that the cost of living, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depend on political decisions. He is even proud of his political ignorance and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political non-participation is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all: the bad and corrupt politicians, the lackeys of exploitative multinational corporations.”
Let’s us therefore move forward together, take part in the political life of our nation, even though we should go up very hard.

Politik
